On the same day, the "China Ocean Mineral Resources Research and Development Association (hereinafter referred to as the 'China Ocean Association') Achievement Exhibition and the United Nations 'Decade of the Ocean' China Action Exhibition" was opened in Shanghai Haichang Ocean Park. These models were exhibited in this exhibition.
It is understood that the exhibition is divided into four theme exhibition areas: "Diver the Sea and Explore Dreams", "Long-Cable" Deep Sea", "Strength towards the Sea", and "Explore the Future of the Sea". Nearly 100 physical exhibits and a large number of popular science pictures show the magnificent picture of China's marine science and technology development in a panoramic manner, attracting many tourists to visit.

In the practice of developing the deep sea, the China Ocean Association continues to increase investment and strive to break through key technologies. From the 2012 "Jiaolong" manned deep submersible exceeded 7,000 meters of depth to the construction of the "Three Dragons" coordinated deep-sea exploration system, a series of breakthroughs mark a huge leap from "following" and "running side by side" to "leading" in some fields.
The deep sea has no borders, and exploration also requires the same boat. In recent years, China has deeply participated in the United Nations "Decade of Oceans" action, and has used China's contribution to inject strong impetus into marine scientific change and global marine governance. It has successively launched a number of major scientific plans such as "Discovery and Protection of Typical Deep Sea Habitats", "Global Under-Sea Floor Ecosystems and Sustainability", and "Deep Sea Microbiomes and Ecosystems", to promote Chinese solutions and Chinese technologies to the center of the world stage; the open cooperation platform built has attracted scientists from all over the world to explore the mystery of the ocean side by side.
At present, there are nearly 200 member units of the China Ocean Association, which has gathered top teams in many fields such as oceans, geology, minerals, equipment, and environment, becoming a "national team" that gallops across the deep sea. By promoting the integration of industry, academia and research, it will drive the upgrading of domestic shipbuilding, materials, mechanical and electrical industries, and cultivate a number of deep-sea scientific research, technology and equipment enterprises and industrial alliances with international competitiveness.
