Chen Wenqing, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and secretary of the Central Political and Legal Affairs Commission, met with Li Mingzhi, President of the Supreme People's Court of Vietnam in Beijing on the 6th. Chen Wenqing pointed out that General Secretary Xi Jinping and General Secretary Su Lin reached important consensus on deepening the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership between China and Vietnam, and pointed out the direction for the development of China-Vietnam relations. It is hoped that both sides will implement the important consensus of the highest leaders of the two parties and the two countries, improve the exchange mechanism, broaden the channels for cooperation, strengthen judicial assistance, improve the quality and efficiency of combating transnational crimes such as drug trafficking and online fraud, promote efficient resolution of cross-border disputes, and contribute the rule of law to the peaceful development of the two countries and regions.
Lee Mingzhi said that he is willing to deepen exchanges and cooperation in the judicial field of Vietnam and China.
