Canalys today announced the top 10 mobile phone models in mainland China's smartphone shipments in the first quarter of 2025. Among them, Apple has three exclusive models, Xiaomi and OPPO each have two models, and Huawei, Honor and vivo have one on the list.

The three models on Apple's list are iPhone 16 Pro Max, iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16. Among them, the best-performing Pro Max accounted for 4.7% of the market share, and the market performance was excellent.

The two models on Xiaomi are REDMI K80 and REDMI 14R, respectively. K80 ranks third in shipments, with a market share of 3%. Although REDMI 14R is currently sold in Xiaomi Mall, its shipments mainly depend on operators and are used as contract machines.
The two models on OPPO are OPPO A3x and Reno13 5G; Huawei is Nova 13; Honor is X60 and vivo is Y37. The top 10 models in shipments account for a total of 28.4% of the market share, but it is not difficult to see that most of the domestic mobile phone models are mid- and low-end models, and the flagship models of each company have not entered the list.

In addition, Canalys also announced the ranking of manufacturers in the first quarter of 2025 for the price range of more than US$600.
In the global market, Apple's shipments rose by 10% year-on-year, with a market share of 59%; Samsung fell slightly, with a share of 22%, Huawei's share of 9% thanks to its outstanding performance in the domestic market, while Google and Xiaomi's share of 3%.

In the mainland Chinese market, Apple's shipments fell by 9%, with a market share of 43%, Honor's shipments fell by 34%, with a market share of 4%. Xiaomi, Huawei, and OPPO's shipments rose sharply, especially Xiaomi's shipments increased by 102% year-on-year, with a share of 7%. However, Xiaomi, which ranks third, still has a big gap with Apple and Huawei.
