The event site announced that the National Ocean Comprehensive Testing Site (Deep Sea) was officially launched.
IT Home learned from the official introduction that the deep-sea test site marine fixed experimental zone is located in the northwest of Ganquan Haitai, about the southeast of Sanya 200 kilometers, an area of about 400 square kilometers, a water depth of about 1300 to 1500 meters, and has typical deep sea hydrological environment characteristics. With the successful completion of the three-month business trial operation and the shared voyage mission is actively promoted, the operation support work of the deep-sea test site is accelerating into orbit, marking that the deep-sea test site is becoming an important national-level maritime test base.
Chun, deputy director of the Marine Warning and Monitoring Department of the Ministry of Natural Resources, revealed that we have laid out and built 4 test sites in Shandong, Zhejiang, Guangdong and Hainan. Among them, this site in Sanya, Hainan is the only deep-sea test site among our 4 sites. It can provide a test environmental condition for our deep-sea scientific research, deep-sea survey equipment, and deep-sea renewable energy development.
