On May 30, the first distributed photovoltaic power generation project in Taiping Bay Cooperation Innovation Zone was officially connected to the grid to generate power. As an important supporting project of Taiping Bay Green Factory, the project successfully supplied the first green power to Taiping Bay, effectively supporting the equipment manufacturing of wind power industrial parks, and promoting the construction of Taiping Bay green and low-carbon parks.
The project is located in the Taipingwan Wind Power Industrial Park. It makes full use of the plant roofs, idle vacant land and other spatial resources in the factory area to pave photovoltaic panels. The total installed capacity is 1.64 megawatts, with an average annual power generation of about 1.4 million kilowatt-hours. It is expected to save about 10,500 tons of standard coal every year and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 28,800 tons. It will effectively improve the park's renewable energy utilization rate, reduce the electricity costs of enterprises, and achieve a dual improvement in economic and ecological benefits.
