On the afternoon of June 7, Wang Tie, deputy secretary of the municipal party committee and mayor, went to Jiamusi East Suburb Airport to inspect the progress of the construction of Jiamusi Airport renovation and expansion project. He stressed that we must thoroughly implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speeches and instructions, adhere to high-starting point planning and high-standard construction, promote airport project construction with high quality and efficiency, improve airport facilities service levels, improve air transportation capabilities, and strive to build a modern comprehensive transportation system in Jiamusi, injecting strong impetus into the high-quality economic and social development of Jiamusi.
At the construction site of the airport renovation and expansion project, Wang Tie carefully checked the construction status of three links and one level, two districts and three sites, and related laboratory construction, and held a symposium to listen to comprehensive reports on the preparation for resumption of flights, airport construction preparation, etc., and coordinated to solve the difficulties and problems in the project construction process. He pointed out that the Jiamusi Airport renovation and expansion project is an important transportation infrastructure project to implement the national "Belt and Road" strategy. We must improve our political stance, unify our thinking and understanding, effectively enhance our sense of responsibility and urgency, and make every effort to speed up and improve our project construction.
Wang Tie emphasized that we must keep a close eye on the time node of resumption of flights, do a good job in airport maintenance, upgrade supporting facilities, etc., to ensure a smooth resumption of flights. We must speed up the relevant bidding work in accordance with the requirements of compliance, legality, high quality and efficiency, saving funds and avoiding risks. We must tighten the responsibility for project quality and production safety, organize professional forces, participate in construction supervision throughout the process, grasp every link and every detail, and promote airport construction with high quality and high standards. We must do a good job in the construction of internal pipeline networks, internal airport renovations, and peripheral airport renovations, and plan and build airport bus stops to achieve effective connection with major transportation hubs, commercial centers and tourist attractions in the city. We must actively study route subsidies, route expansion, and cargo routes, give full play to the leading role of routes, and maximize their role. We must plan and reserve a group of talents familiar with project procedures, engineering construction, communication management and other businesses to provide talent guarantees for the subsequent and stable operation of the airport.
