On June 5, 2025, the Chinese Academy of Financial Sciences and the Institute of Finance of the Russian Federation jointly held the 2025 China-Russia Finance and Financial Think Tank Seminar (Second Phase). The seminar mainly discusses the two themes of "China-Russia Medical Insurance System" and "China-Russia Medical Financing and Financial Investment Mechanism". The meeting was co-chaired by Vice President Xing Li and Cofton, director of the Russian Institute of Finance.
At the exchange stage, the two sides had a more in-depth discussion on the implementation details, resource allocation, payment methods of the China-Russia medical security system.
Cheng Yu, director of the Scientific Research Organization Department of the Academy of Finance and Sciences, Yu Zhenli, deputy director of the Deputy Director of the Center for Social Development, Zhu Kun, and others attended the meeting. Yakovlev, academic secretary of the Russian Institute of Finance and Senior Researcher of the International Finance Center, attended the meeting online.
