On June 3, experts and scholars from Saar University and Helmholtz Institute of Pharmacy, teachers and students of the Patriotic Education Workshop of City University of Macau, visited the National Biomedical Regional Technology Transfer and Transformation Center (Nanjing, Jiangsu) (hereinafter referred to as "Nanjing Biomedical Branch") for investigation. Through on-site observation and exchange, the branch center once again demonstrated its international vision and open cooperation attitude in the transfer and transformation of scientific and technological achievements.
Professor Frank Kierkoff, director of the Center for Biological and Medical Gender Research at Saar University in Germany and director of the Pharmacy Center for Global Biological and Medical Gender Research at China Pharmaceutical University, led a delegation of Chinese and German experts to learn more about the platform construction, transformation mechanism, service measures and other content of the Nanjing Biomedical Sub-center under the introduction of the staff, and through on-site visits to the laboratory, we learned about the professional and technical capabilities and transformation innovation cases of the sub-center.
The delegation fully recognized the sub-center's advanced scientific research equipment, perfect results transformation mechanism and cutting-edge open vision. The two sides exchanged and discussed the potential technical cooperation model, the implementation of cross-border incubation projects and joint talent training.
The teachers and students of the Patriotic Education Workshop of Urban University of Macau went deep into the laboratory to learn about the one-stop innovation service platform for multi-omics and the full-chain analysis service platform for drug research and development, and to understand the important missions and innovative achievements of the branch center in promoting biomedical technology innovation, serving regional industrial upgrading, and supporting scientific and technological self-reliance and self-improvement.
Through on-site visits to the biomedical innovation service platform, we feel the good innovation ecology and vigorous development trend of the biomedical industry in Jiangbei New District.
