[Original by Dongchedi Industry] On June 9, according to media reports, Wang Xiaoyan, vice president of Xiaomi Group and president of China, added to serve as general manager of Xiaomi Home, the new retail department. Wang Hui, former general manager of Xiaomi Home, will be transferred to general manager of the sales management department and will still report to Wang Xiaoyan.

At the end of 2024, Ma Ji, vice president of Xiaomi Group and general manager of the new retail department in China, resigned. Wang Xiaoyan began to serve as the general manager of the new retail department, and now he serves as the general manager of Xiaomi Home.
Public resume shows that Wang Xiaoyan joined Xiaomi in 2019 and has successively dominated e-commerce, sales operations and new retail departments. Xiaomi's official resume commented that under the external challenges of the overall decline of the market, achieving steady improvement will play a decisive role in the construction of new retail business in China.

At the Xiaomi Group 2025 Investors Conference, Lei Jun, founder, chairman and CEO of Xiaomi Group, once said that as of the end of March, the number of offline retail stores in Xiaomi China has reached 16,000, and it is expected that by the end of this year, the scale of offline retail stores will reach 20,000.
There is no doubt that Xiaomi Auto’s access to users in the early stage is inseparable from the expansion of Xiaomi Home. Now, as the weight of Xiaomi’s automobile business further increases, the delivery target has been greatly improved, which has also become an important driving force for Xiaomi’s new retail layout.

On June 9, Xiaomi Auto officially announced that the number of Xiaomi Auto stores had exceeded 300. Officials pointed out that in June, a total of 51 new Xiaomi Home and Xiaomi Auto Sales and Service Stores were added, covering 40 cities across the country, further expanding its channel network.
