Windows 11 Users previously wanted to compress the image file size, and usually use Paint or Photos to apply it, but using these methods often reduces the resolution at the same time.
This media tests that Microsoft Windows 11 new version sharing interface provides three image compression levels: Low, Medium and High.
Take Windows Bloom wallpaper as an example, the original file size is 1MB and the resolution is 3840x2160px. While keeping the resolution unchanged, after selecting "Low", the file size plummets to 147.8KB, and after selecting "Medium" and "High", the file sizes are 165.3KB and 182.7KB, respectively.
IT Home quoted the blog post and reduced JPEG The encoding quality is achieved. Although the file size is reduced, the image clarity will be affected to a certain extent, especially the quality decreases significantly under the "Low" option.
