"Liberate Los Angeles", Trump ordered the three ministers to join forces to "end the immigration riots"

On June 8 local time, US President Trump posted on his social media platform "Real Social" that Los Angeles has been "invaded and occupied" by illegal immigrants and criminals, and violent insurgents gathered and attacked federal agents in an attempt to hinder the government's deportation.

Trump instructed Secretary of Homeland Security Nom, Secretary of Defense Hegsey and Attorney General Bondy to coordinate with relevant departments and institutions to take all necessary actions to "liberate Los Angeles from the immigration invasion and end these immigration riots."

Trump stressed that order will eventually resume, illegal immigrants will be deported, and Los Angeles will be regained "freedom".

300 National Guard personnel entered Los Angeles

The U.S. Northern Command posted on social media on the 8th that 300 soldiers from the 79th Infantry Brigade of the California National Guard have been deployed to three locations in the Los Angeles area, and their responsibilities are to protect the safety of federal agencies and personnel.

The California Governor's Office confirmed to local media on the 8th that about 300 National Guard personnel had been deployed. Media said that this number is far lower than the 2,000 National Guard personnel required to be dispatched in the order of US President Trump on the 7th.

California Governor Newsom commented on social media on the 8th for criticizing Trump for sending the National Guard into the Los Angeles area not to meet local security needs, but "hope to see more chaos." Newsom also called on residents of local Los Angeles community to remain calm, protest peacefully, and not use violence.

Los Angeles Mayor Bass also posted on social media at noon on the 8th that the federal government dispatched the National Guard after its law enforcement officers launched a riot in the wake of the riots, which "will only aggravate the chaos."

In addition, according to the Los Angeles Police Department, a total of 11 people were arrested on the evening of the 7th because they were still staying outside the federal agency building in the downtown city after the police announced the ban on illegal gatherings.

The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Bureau and other federal agencies dispatched a large number of law enforcement personnel on the 6th and 7th to launch searches for illegal immigrants in many places in Los Angeles County, and had serious conflicts with local community residents for two consecutive days.
