Xinhua News Agency reporters saw at the scene that during the conflict, National Guard personnel fired tear gas and rubber bullets to try to disperse the protesters, but the number of protesters increased, from the initial dozens to more than 200. The protesters were emotionally excited and kept shouting loudly for the National Guard and the police. Some protesters threw water bottles and stones at National Guard personnel, and some picked up tear gas and threw them back.

Protesters at the scene told Xinhua News Agency that they are all hard-working local community residents and hope to express their opinions peacefully, but "Is it necessary for the Trump administration to send military personnel to deal with us?"
The US Immigration and Customs Enforcement and other federal agencies dispatched a large number of law enforcement personnel on the 6th and 7th to launch searches for illegal immigrants in many places in Los Angeles County, and had serious conflicts with local community residents for two consecutive days.
