Walking into the S9 Pavilion, a long queue was lined up in the VR experience area of Tianjin Water Conservancy Achievements Exhibition Area. The experiencers put on VR glasses and felt the water control process of the Haihe River Basin in an immersive way. "I waited for half an hour, but it was particularly worth it. This kind of immersive learning is much more intuitive than reading books!" said Mr. Wang, who came to visit the exhibition. The demo screen of the Haihe River Basin Water Control Exhibition Area next to it was also surrounded by audiences. Everyone stretched their necks, stared at the data and charts on the exhibition board, and exclaimed from time to time. "At present, the Haihe River Basin has formed multiple defense lines of rainwater condition monitoring and forecasting composed of meteorological satellites, rainfall radars, rainfall stations, and hydrological stations. In this way, the three-dimensional monitoring methods of the sky and the earth can conduct real-time monitoring and forecasting and warning of rainwater conditions, so as to take timely measures to deal with possible floods and floods." Chuo Ruiyuan, executive deputy director of the Consulting Center of Tianjin Longwang Technology Development Co., Ltd., introduced.
It is understood that this expo will last for 3 days. In addition to the results display of the 12 major exhibition areas, the Water Expo also carefully planned more than 10 high-end forums including group standards release, on-site release of cutting-edge innovative technology application scenarios and technology exchange activities, and invited authoritative domestic experts, scholars and corporate representatives to gather together. These colorful activities not only set up a platform for everyone to share the latest research results and practical experience, but also provide participants with a feast of the collision of ideas and wisdom, promoting technological innovation and industrial upgrading of the water conservancy industry.
