IT Home reported on June 8 that Gigabyte launched a new desktop computer "designed for cutting-edge AI development" - the AI TOP 500 TRX50. The price and time of launch have not been announced yet.
This machine is equipped with AMD Ryzen Threadripper Pro 7965WX processor, Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card, 768GB DDR5 memory (IT Home Note: 8 x 96 GB) and 2 TB Aorus Gen4 7300 SSD.
In addition, Gigabyte also offers a special model of SSD option – the AI TOP 100E SSD. Although it has a capacity of only 320 GB, it is faster and more durable, and its total TBW is said to be 150 times that of traditional consumer-grade SSDs.
Other aspects, the machine uses 1600W 80 Plus Platinum ATX 3.1 power supply and E-ATX chassis, other features include PCIe 5.0, Thunderbolt 5, dual 10 GbE Ethernet, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 5.3.
