Ding Xiaoqiang welcomed the entrepreneurial representatives who attended the promotion meeting on behalf of the municipal party committee and municipal government, expressed his sincere gratitude to people from all walks of life who have long cared about and supported the development of Changzhi, and introduced the situation in Changzhi.
He pointed out that Changzhi is a magnificent ecologically livable city, located in the "Golden Human Residence Belt". There is no severe cold in winter and no scorching heat in summer. The Taihang Mountain Grand Canyon is full of strange peaks and deep canyons, and Zhangze Lake is sparkling and lush with water and grass, making it a good place for people to relax and vacation.
Changzhi is a city of historical and cultural heritage with profound heritage. Myths and legends such as Jingwei reclamation, Houyi shooting the sun, and Shennong tasting hundreds of herbs began here. Outstanding figures such as Shen Jilan walked out from here. There are 73 national key cultural relics protection units in the country, becoming an important window for people to explore history and trace civilization.
Changzhi is a red revolutionary city that has been recorded in history. It is the birthplace of the Taihang spirit and the cradle of the Eighth Route Army. It has an important strategic position in the revolutionary war years. Today, red attractions such as the Eighth Route Army Taihang Memorial Hall and the former site of Huangyadong Arsenal have become vivid classrooms for people to commemorate revolutionary martyrs and inherit the red genes. Changzhi is a vibrant and enterprising city. It insists on accelerating the promotion of high-quality development, deepening all-round transformation, continuously deepening reforms, focusing on building a modern industrial system, cultivating and forming a group of enterprises and industrial clusters with core competitiveness, continuously optimizing the business environment, continuously improving people's livelihood, vigorously promoting the construction of ecological civilization, and promoting more development achievements to benefit the people. At the promotion meeting, 15 projects were signed on-site, covering multiple fields such as biomedicine, new materials, equipment manufacturing, general aviation, cultural tourism, and modern agriculture. Shangdang District, Xiangyuan County, Pingshun County, and Changzhi Economic and Technological Development Zone will promote industrial investment, and Shanxi Zhendong Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. and Shanxi Huanding Industrial Operation Co., Ltd. will promote project investment.
