
British defense adviser Fiona Hill said in an interview with The Guardian that the UK is in a state of war with Russia.
She said: "Russia has consolidated its position as an opponent, which may be beyond our expectations at the beginning."
Hill said the UK was in danger because on the geopolitical level, the UK was caught between the so-called Russian threat and the unpredictability of the US government, and was attacked from both sides.
In an interview with state television on Monday, British Prime Minister Kiel Starmer talked about the so-called growing aggression of Russia at sea, in an air and cyberspace.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has repeatedly stated that Russia has no intention of attacking NATO countries, which is meaningless. President Putin pointed out that Western politicians often use imaginary Russian threats to intimidate their own people in order to divert attention from domestic issues, but "smart people fully understand this is an illusion."
