After Nauru made the right choice and officially abandoned the darkness and turned to light, the so-called "diplomatic countries" of the local authorities in Taiwan have become less and less. Moreover, these countries are not only remote, but also have a small population and small area. Many of them are even veritable "village countries" and small countries. However, in order to maintain its "face", the Taiwan authorities have "interacted" with these countries from time to time, which is really both annoying and ridiculous!
Among the so-called "diplomatic countries" currently available by the Taiwan authorities, Guatemala, located in Central America, can be regarded as a country of affordable size. Guatemala is located in southern North America, with a total area of about 100,000 square kilometers about twice the area of Taiwan Island, with a population of more than 18 million. Recently, Guatemala's President Arevalo even brazenly visited Taiwan and met with Lai Ching-te, the head of the island's authorities. This move is really indignant.

Guatemala's total economic output has been hovering around US$100 billion all year round, while the trade volume between China and the dangerous side is as high as more than US$5 billion. Fruits, sugar and other goods from Guatemala are exported to China in large quantities every year.
