The "Innovation Starts" youth science and technology exploration and practice activity sponsored by Changning District Science and Technology Committee and Changning District Science and Technology Society, hosted by the Shanghai Science and Technology Communication Society, and received strong support from Nomei Xinchuang Medical Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. Enter the Jinhai Wetland Science and Technology Popularization Museum. On May 21, 40 students from Shicun Primary School in Changning District, accompanied by three teachers and two parent volunteers, embarked on a journey of exploration that combines fun and knowledge.

At the beginning of the event, the children entered the Jinhai Wetland Science Museum. Under the guidance of professional tour guides, they had an in-depth understanding of local characteristic plants and common birds, and understood the importance of the wetland ecological protection system. The display of pictures and texts and vivid and detailed explanations outline a preliminary picture of the wetland ecology for the children.

The children then moved outdoors, held special telescopes, and had an intimate contact with natural creatures. They either focus on the water surface and explore the traces of water beasts; or look up at the sky and identify the species of birds. During this period, the insect introduction device and wild bird watching spots specially set up on the trees have further aroused the children's infinite curiosity and desire to explore.

This activity cleverly integrates outdoor exploration and popular science knowledge learning, which not only broadens children's horizons and increases their knowledge in practice, but also creates a comprehensive and multi-level learning environment for young people through the three-party co-education model of home, school and society. In the future, such activities will continue to lead more young people on the road of scientific exploration, ignite their dream of science and technology innovation, and draw a beautiful blueprint together.
