On June 6, on the occasion of the 54th World Environment Day, in accordance with the arrangements and deployments of the "Beautiful China Propaganda Week" series of activities, the Luliang Municipal Ecological Environment Bureau and the Luliang Ecological Environment Monitoring Center jointly carried out a centralized opening of environmental protection facilities to the public. More than 20 volunteers from the Luliang Ecological and Environmental Protection Volunteer Association participated in the event.
In the instrument analysis room and water quality analysis room of Luliang Ecological Environment Monitoring Center, the center's technicians explained the principles and monitoring scope of instruments and equipment on-site operation, popularized scientific knowledge of ecological environment monitoring, and demonstrated drone water sample collection technology and noise monitoring technology outdoors, allowing environmental volunteers to understand the ecological environment monitoring work up close, deepened their understanding of the importance of ecological and environmental monitoring work, further enhanced their awareness of the environment protection, and further clarified their responsibilities and mission in ecological protection.
This open day event successfully built a good platform for public participation and understanding of environmental protection work. Through "zero distance" contact with environmental protection facilities and environmental protection work, a social atmosphere of "everyone knows about environmental protection work and shared responsibility for ecological responsibility" has been promoted. In the next step, the Luliang Municipal Ecological Environment Bureau will continue to promote the normalization of centralized opening of environmental protection facilities to the public, further expand the coverage and influence of the activities, attract more public to participate in the protection of the ecological environment, continue to practice the theme of the "Beautiful China, I will take the lead" activity, further build the consensus of the whole society on green development, and contribute more strength to the construction of a beautiful China.
