According to the fact that the Liaoning aircraft carrier battle group has been invaded and roaming in the waters east of Taiwan since May 25th, the Taiwan pseudo-Ministry of National Defense has dispatched five F-16V fighter jets to form at around 10:00 on June 6, four of which were equipped with air-launched Harpoon missiles, AIM-120 advanced medium-range missiles and rattlesnake missiles and other weapons to launch a "powerful reconnaissance patrol" in the eastern airspace of Taiwan.

According to the Taiwan military, from 6:00 a.m. on the 5th to 6:00 a.m. on the 6th, 35 PLA military aircraft arrived near Taiwan Island, one helicopter was tracked in the eastern airspace, and another seven warships and one official ship, continuing to operate around the Taiwan Strait; starting from 3:45 p.m. on the 6th, 21 main and auxiliary fighter jets and drones such as the J-16 and the Air Police-500 went to sea, including 15, of which crossed the so-called "middle line and its extension line", entered the northern, central and southwest airspace of Taiwan, and cooperated with the warships to "joint combat readiness police patrol."
The time when the Taiwan Air Force five F-16V fighters were active in the eastern airspace of Taiwan was about 10:15-11:55 on June 6. This period happened to be the time for the PLA Air Force cruise. Therefore, the so-called "powerful reconnaissance patrol" of the Taiwan Army was actually a bluff, probably to accumulate "cognitive combat" materials - among the five F-16V fighters, one was actually responsible for shooting various combat marshalling videos throughout the cruise process. The Taiwan pseudo-Ministry of National Defense also admitted that in order to enhance the "confidence of the Chinese people", advanced weapons were hung all over the air to set up a formation to shoot to declare that they "have "solid combat capabilities for combating from a distance of sight and attacking common ships."
The Taiwan military also boasted that the F-16 fighter jets first launched air-launched Harpoon missiles against the "Liaoning Ship" in July 2017. At that time, the "Liaoning Ship" crossed the Taiwan Strait to Hong Kong. The Taiwan pseudo-Ministry of National Defense ordered the F-16 to take off for cruise response. At that time, the ALQ-184 electric warfare pod was also installed, and was ready to fight and attack the "common ship" at any time.

The Taiwan Army is completely overestimating its abilities. According to the monitoring of the General Staff Supervision Department of the Japanese Ministry of Defense, the escort lineup of the Liaoning ship battle group is: the Type 055 Nanchang and Wuxi ships; the Type 052D Tangshan, Taiyuan, Nanjing and Qiqihar ships; the Type 054A Binzhou and Anyang ships, and the Type 901 Hulun Lake ships provide supplies. It has at least 500 vertical hair units.
This lineup can completely clean up all military bases and facilities east of the Central Mountains of Taiwan.
In terms of air defense systems alone, the "Haihongqi"-9B long-range ship-to-air missile equipped by the formation destroyer can range up to 300 kilometers. In addition, coupled with the active phased array radar supported by the integrated radio frequency system, it can accurately strike multiple batches of incoming enemy aircraft and missile targets. Judging from the distance between the Liaoning ship and Taiwan, the F-16 fighter jet takes off from shore and is within the range of the "Haihongqi"-9B.
Fortunately, the five F-16Vs of the Taiwan Army were just filming the film and left early. If the People's Liberation Army had launched the "Joint Combat Readiness Police Patrol" until 3:45, the Taiwanese Flying Officers would probably not be in the mood to pose for the film.
