On June 5, on the occasion of the 54th World Environment Day, the selection and award ceremony of "I am a Beautiful China Tourist" jointly organized by the Hebei Environmental Science Society, Hebei Youth Daily and Hebei Radio and Television Network Group Media Technology Company was successfully held in Shijiazhuang. The theme of this event is "Beautiful China·Science and Technology Escort" and aims to showcase the scientific and technological achievements of ecological environment protection and spread the concept of ecological civilization through popular science explanations and promotional videos.

This event received a total of 108 works submitted by 23 units. Five experts from the ecological environment field, media publicity, film and television production and other industries were invited to form a review team. The shortlisted entries were reviewed in a multi-dimensional manner, and the first, second and third prizes and excellent organization awards of the tour guide and promotional film were selected respectively, and honorary certificates were awarded to the winning units and individuals on the spot.

Finally, Zhao Genxi, President of the Hebei Environmental Science Society, fully affirmed the holding of this event and put forward clear requirements for the implementation of the event in the next year. He pointed out that next year's event should focus on the theme of the "I am a beautiful China tour guide", strengthen guidance and training, and organize special training in advance; work creation should be closely integrated with the work of Hebei Province's Ecological and Environmental Protection Center and key areas, such as the role of science and technology in atmospheric governance, Baiyangdian water environment governance, and green and low-carbon transformation in key industries. At the same time, he hopes that the winning units and individuals can continue to play their role model, tell Hebei's ecological stories well, cultivate the concept of green development, and encourage more people to participate in the construction of a beautiful China, and strive to achieve new achievements next year.
