According to the administrative penalty decision number (Agent) Emergency Penalty No. 5-3 disclosed that the Ekou Iron Mine, a mining branch of Taiyuan Iron and Steel (Group) Co., Ltd., had an open-pit conversion to underground mining project (China Huaye Science and Technology Group Co., Ltd.) on October 23, 2023, causing one person to die. The above facts violate the provisions of Article 44 of the "Production Safety Law". In accordance with the provisions of Article 114, Paragraph 1 of the "Production Safety Law", the County Emergency Management Bureau decided to impose an administrative penalty of RMB 10,000 in fined by China Huaye Science and Technology Group Co., Ltd. The penalty decision date is 2025-06-03.
