Strict inspections are carried out in Mandalay imports and exports
Recently, the State Administration Committee of Myanmar has stepped up its efforts to inspect unlicensed vehicles. Staff at various import and export inspection stations around Mandalay have strictly inspected and carried out seizure of unlicensed vehicles, which is difficult for the public.
Since early June, the State Administration of the State Administration has inspected and seized unlicensed vehicles at the import and export inspection stations in Mandalay City to Monywa, Binwulun, Taung Chi and Yangon in Sega Province.

In response to this, local people said that if suspicious items or suspicious people were found during the inspection, they might be arrested, so some people who need to travel were faced with difficulties.
On May 20, senior leaders in Myanmar announced that they would inspect unlicensed vehicles. Starting from early June, relevant departments began to carry out seizure work.
A person familiar with the matter said that Boshengji and Ouqiao Bridge Head in eastern Mandalay (အုန်းချောတံတတားထိပ်), a bridge on Kyaomimi Village Road, close to multiple waves (ထုံးဘို အကျဉ်း) The bridge of the prison, the Mandalay Imported City in the direction of Binwulun, and other places were strictly inspected. Secondly, the motorcycle inspections are strictly carried out in places such as Mandalay City, including 81-38 Streets. Starting from June 2, strict inspections began in most parts of Mandalay City.
It is said that except for Mandalay, Taungchi, Daqili and Naypyidaw areas are carrying out strict seizure of unlicensed vehicles.
Within 10 days, more than 1,500 unlicensed vehicles were seized in southern Shan State
It was learned from the Myanmar traffic police department that from May 31 to the morning of June 9, more than 1,500 unlicensed cars and motorcycles were seized in southern Shan State.

Including Taung Chi, cities in southern Shan State have launched plans to seize unlicensed vehicles. Starting from May 31, unlicensed vehicles have been seized at imports and exports, intersections and main roads in various cities, and a total of more than 550 cars and more than 950 motorcycles have been seized.
It is reported that due to the continuous seizure of unlicensed vehicles, traffic volume in Taungzhi, Niangrui, Glau, Anban, Bindeya, Ruian, Lailin, Binlong, Nansang, Binlang and other areas are relatively low.

A citizen in Taungchi said that the main roads in the city are very quiet now. Except for those parents who need to send their children to school, few people dare to drive on the road, and everyone is frightened.
In addition, due to the seizure of unlicensed vehicles, merchants who rely on selling unlicensed vehicles face difficulties, and sales in cities have also dropped by nearly half due to the lack of customers.
