On June 4, the Autonomous Region Market Supervision Bureau, in conjunction with the Autonomous Region Quality Basic Development Research Institute and the Urumqi People's Park, launched the "Special Equipment Safety Knowledge into the Park" activity, aiming to create a social atmosphere of "everyone talks about safety, everyone knows how to respond to emergency - find safety hazards around you" and "protect the safety of special equipment and share a better life" during the National "Safe Production Month". The event is carried out in the "Party Building + Safety Promotion" model. Through knowledge lectures, practical drills and other forms, public safety awareness is enhanced and corporate main responsibilities are strengthened.
At the launch ceremony, relevant staff from the Autonomous Region Market Supervision Bureau pointed out that as summer approaches, tourism-related special equipment has entered its peak period of use, and it is necessary to strictly implement the requirements of the "Regulations on Supervision and Management of the Main Responsibility of Special Equipment User Units to Implement the Safety of the Main Responsibility" (hereinafter referred to as the "Regulations") and comprehensively strengthen safety management. Experts from the Autonomous Region Quality Basic Development Institute focused on the core content of the "Regulations", conducted detailed interpretations from the aspects of the main responsibility of the user unit's safety, the establishment and responsibilities of the safety management organization, the establishment and implementation of the safety management system, and strengthened safety awareness and improved operational skills by playing warning films. The person in charge of Urumqi People's Park promised to strictly implement the "daily control, weekly inspection, and monthly dispatch" mechanism, and effectively shoulder the main responsibility for safety and ensure the safe operation of equipment.
At the practical drill site, law enforcement personnel and technicians conducted safety inspections on large amusement facilities such as pirate ships, rotating flying chairs, jungle flying squirrels, focusing on verifying the integrity of safety technical files, equipment registration compliance, implementation of the "daily control, weekly inspection, monthly dispatch" mechanism, as well as emergency rescue plans, public notice of riding instructions and operating status of safety restraint devices, and eliminate potential risks in the "check and modify" mode.
The event site also popularizes the safety use knowledge of special equipment in multiple dimensions through setting up expert consultation desks, hanging themed banners, distributing the manual of "Arrivals Safety Passenger Guide", and organizing employee representatives to sign safety commitments.
In the next step, the Autonomous Region Market Supervision Bureau will continue to deepen the "party building + safety" work model, and weave a tight special equipment safety protection network with measures closer to people's livelihood, laying a solid safety cornerstone for people to visit the park in summer and have a better life.
