Red alarm for rainstorm! Myanmar will welcome continued heavy rainfall across the country!
The Meteorological and Hydrology Bureau (Meteorological/Hydrology) under the National Administration of Myanmar issued an early warning that due to the enhanced monsoon and the Bay of Bengal cyclone, heavy rainfall will occur nationwide from June 9 to 15 and may cause floods.

The meteorological department pointed out that as the monsoon in the Andaman Sea and the Bay of Bengal increase, and the dynamic effect of the movement of the eastern cyclone system, thunderstorms will occur in various provinces and states with heavy precipitation. Local heavy rains will occur in Naypyidaw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bagu, Magui, Shiga, Irrawaddy, Delindayi and other provinces, as well as in areas such as Karen, Kay, Chin, Meng, Rakhine, Rakhine and Shan (south and eastern).


Aviation meteorological expert Wu Weipiaohan warned through his social media page: "Strong thunderstorms will continue to occur across the country, and some areas may cause floods due to heavy rains."
The power recovery after the earthquake in the Inlei region of Myanmar has exceeded 98%!
Due to the impact of the Great Earthquake in Mandalay, Myanmar, the power lines in the Inlei area of Niangrui Town, southern Shan State were damaged. The earthquake caused inclination, breakage and damage to power lines, transformers, telephone poles and cables connecting houses in the Inle area, causing power supply to be interrupted in 321 villages.

As of now, 316 villages have resumed normal power supply, with a completion rate of more than 98%. The restoration of power lines in the remaining villages is also being carried out simultaneously to ensure that the power supply is fully restored as soon as possible.
