On June 9, well-known Apple reporter Mark Gurman revealed that Apple needs more time to develop functions related to calendar and health, so these two functions are integrated with AI technology. They will be unveiled in subsequent versions such as iOS 27, and iOS 26 will not be able to do so.

It is understood that the new generation of calendar applications will deeply integrate Apple Intelligence technology to realize functions such as intelligent meeting time planning, personalized schedule preference learning, and multi-person trip collaborative management. The AI health coaching function will be introduced in the new generation of health applications, which will provide tailor-made health advice and exercise guidance based on the user's physical condition, health goals and daily activity habits.

Because the research and development process of these two functions is extremely complex, involving a large amount of data collection, algorithm optimization and user experience testing, Apple decided to postpone it to the release of iOS 27 version.
