This morning (June 9), Suzhou University held a school-wide cadre meeting, and Zhang Qiao was appointed president of Suzhou University.
Zhang Qiao, male, Han nationality, born in June 1982, from Anxiang, Hunan, graduate student, doctoral student, member of the Agricultural and Labor Party. He was previously the deputy director of the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Science and Technology and vice chairman of the Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the Agricultural and Labor Party.
Zhang Qiao studied for a bachelor's degree and master's degree at the University of Science and Technology of China. In 2007, he went to the University of California, Riverside to study for a doctorate in chemistry. From 2012 to 2014, he was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of California, Berkeley.
