On June 7, the 2025 Global Artificial Intelligence Technology Conference (GAITC2025) hosted by the China Artificial Intelligence Society opened in Hangzhou Future Science and Technology City. This conference is themed "intersection, integration, mutual generation, and win-win". It consists of 4 keynote reports and 25 special activities. More than 200 experts and scholars share cutting-edge reports, attracting nearly 1,000 people from all walks of life, including government, industry, academia and research. During the conference, the "Qingyuan Scholars" Frontier Cross-Salon, the 2025 Global Artificial Intelligence Technology Innovation Competition, and the Artificial Intelligence Technology Conference interactive experience exhibition were held simultaneously, showing new trends in breakthroughs in artificial intelligence technology and new trends in industrial intelligence transformation in multiple dimensions. At the opening ceremony of the conference, Yang Jiangen, deputy secretary of the Yuhang District Party Committee and district mayor, and Dai Qionghai, consultant of the State Council, dean of the School of Information Science and Technology of Tsinghua University, director of the Beijing National Research Center for Information Science and Technology, and chairman of the Chinese Society of Artificial Intelligence, Giorgio Parisi, winner of the Nobel Prize in Physics, academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Italian Lynx, foreign academician of the French Academy of Sciences, and professor of the Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, delivered speeches to the conference.
Afterward, a series of major ceremonies were held in turn at the opening ceremony of the conference. The launch ceremony of the vertical big model of the industry application field of Hangzhou Future Science and Technology City demonstrated the exploration results of the regional implementation and application of big models in the industry; the launch ceremony of the special support action for intellectual property securitization financing in the field of artificial intelligence has opened up a new financing path for AI innovative enterprises; the signing ceremony of the implementation of the third Zhuoxi Laboratory Science and Technology Achievement Transformation Project marks the accelerated transformation of cutting-edge achievements of national strategic scientific and technological forces in Hangzhou.
The strategic cooperation signing ceremony of the Science and Technology Innovation Center of the China Artificial Intelligence Society (Hangzhou Station) further strengthened the link between national society resources and Hangzhou local development; the commendation ceremony of the outstanding enterprise transformation of scientific and technological achievements by the China Artificial Intelligence Society, commending pioneers who have performed outstandingly in the industrialization of AI; the award ceremony of the Global Artificial Intelligence Technology Innovation Competition Hardware Challenge Championship Champion, inspiring innovation breakthroughs in underlying hardware technologies; the commendation ceremony of the China Artificial Intelligence Society-Shengs MindSpore/Shengsen CANN Academic Fund Excellent Project, supports academic research based on domestic AI root technology.
As the launch ceremony of the 2025 Global Artificial Intelligence Technology Conference was officially lit up, the keynote report session of the conference kicked off. Dai Qionghai, consultant of the State Council, dean of the School of Information Science and Technology of Tsinghua University, director of the Beijing National Research Center for Information Science and Technology, and chairman of the Chinese Society of Artificial Intelligence, He You, vice chairman and professor of the Chinese Society of Artificial Intelligence, Adrian Hilton, academician of the Royal Academy of Engineering, director of the Human-Computer Collaboration Institute of the University of Surrey, and Tian Qi, academician of the International Academy of Eurasian Sciences and chief scientist of Huawei Terminal BG, and four top Chinese and foreign scientists, respectively, took the themes of "Some Thoughts on Artificial Intelligence - Waltz of Virtual and Real", "Frontcoming of Intelligent Unmanned Systems", "People-Centred AI", "3D/4D Content Creation for Arbitrary Sparse Data". Zhuang Yueting, vice chairman of the Chinese Society of Artificial Intelligence and professor at Zhejiang University, presided over the keynote report.
On the afternoon of the same day, the "Qingyuan Scholars" Frontier Cross-Sales of the Chinese Artificial Intelligence Society was held at the same time, and 5 "Qingyuan Scholars" and 10 potential young scholars were selected to provide young scholars with a platform for academic exchanges and achievements display, and stimulate innovative vitality in the field of artificial intelligence. At the same time, 25 special activities focusing on cutting-edge directions, including the "Smart Media Special Activities" jointly supported by Sina News, Communication University of China and other units, the "Legal and Artificial Intelligence Special Activities" jointly supported by Zhejiang University Digital Rule of Law Laboratory, and the "Open World Machine Learning Frontier Technology Special Activities" jointly supported by Jiangsu Artificial Intelligence Society, etc., were fully launched from June 6 to 8, providing participants with a diversified platform for in-depth exchanges and cooperation.
This year marks the sixth consecutive year that the Global Artificial Intelligence Technology Conference has been successfully held in Yuhang District Future Science and Technology City. At present, Yuhang District, Hangzhou City is taking artificial intelligence as a strong "engine", breaking through the waves of the digital tide and building a multi-level industrial ecosystem.
