On June 7 local time, Zorin, director of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces General Staff Department, said that Ukraine did not confirm the exchange of detained personnel originally scheduled to be held today, and it was postponed indefinitely. Zorin said that Russia also submitted a list of 640 detained personnel to Ukraine, but Ukraine has not yet determined the date of transfer and the number of people to be handed over to Russia. He also said that Russia is fully prepared to implement the agreement reached in Istanbul, and can hand over all the remains and exchange the detained persons according to established procedures.
The Ukrainian prisoner treatment coordination headquarters reported on the same day that the statement of Russia's Ukrainian side's postponement of the exchange of detained personnel is inconsistent with the reality, nor is it in line with the agreement on the exchange of detained personnel and the return of bodies. Ukraine has submitted a clear exchange list, which are formulated based on categories agreed in Istanbul. Russia submitted other lists that were inconsistent with the agreed method. Ukraine has given a relevant response and is now looking forward to Russia taking the next step. The two sides reached an agreement on the return of the body, but the specific date has not been determined. The notice also stated that Russia had taken unilateral actions and Russia did not conduct constructive dialogue. (Reporter Cheng Mo and Wang Jinyan of the General Station)
