On June 8, Yu Xiaojun, Secretary of the Taigu District Party Committee, met with Ni Guancao, the visiting president of the East China Casting Association, and his delegation, aiming to promote exchanges and cooperation between the two sides, jointly discuss new paths for the development of the foundry industry, and inject new vitality into regional economic development. Yu Xiaojun warmly welcomed Ni Guancao and his party, and highly praised the efforts and contributions made by the East China Casting Association in promoting the development of the casting industry. He pointed out that our region is currently in a critical period of industrial structure adjustment and transformation and upgrading. As a traditional advantageous industry, the foundry industry plays an important role in promoting regional economic development and absorbing employment. The district committee, district government and the East China Casting Association will continue to maintain close communication, jointly explore more cooperation opportunities, strive to achieve mutual benefit and win-win results, and make positive contributions to promoting the high-quality development of the foundry industry in Taigu District and building a modern economically strong zone.
Ni Guancao expressed his gratitude to the district party committee and district government for their warm reception, and briefly introduced the development history, organizational structure and influence in the industry. He said that through in-depth investigations of more than 20 foundry companies in Taigu, he found that the companies here have a deep industrial heritage and a solid development foundation, and at the same time, they have rich labor resources and developed transportation networks, and have the potential to further expand and strengthen. The Casino Association is willing to give full play to the role of a bridge and link, and build a bridge for exchanges and cooperation between foundry enterprises in Taigu District and advanced domestic and foreign enterprises and scientific research institutions, help enterprises improve their technical level and management capabilities, and jointly promote the foundry industry to move towards high-quality development.
