On June 6, the Chongqing Municipal Economic and Information Technology Commission issued a public notice on the completion of the relocation and construction project of Chongqing Tongliang Southwest Cement Co., Ltd.
In accordance with the provisions of the "Notice of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on Issuing the Implementation Measures for Capacity Replacement of the Cement and Glass Industry (2024 This Edition)" (Ministry of Industry and Information Technology [2024] No. 206), Chongqing Tongliang Southwest Cement Co., Ltd. applied to accept the completion status of the 2022 relocation and construction announcement project. After on-site verification by experts, it will be announced.
Chongqing Tongliang Southwest Cement Co., Ltd. has a daily production 7300t/d cement clinker production line to build a Φ5.5×78m rotary kiln, located in Jiuxian Street, Tongliang District, Chongqing (in Chongqing Tongliang High-tech Industrial Development Zone). It is planned to ignite and put into production in late June 2025.
In March 2025, the cement rotary kiln, grate colder, transformer and other main production equipment of Chongqing Tongliang Southwest Cement Co., Ltd.'s original 2500 and 4800t/d cement clinker production lines were demolished, and the pollution discharge permit was changed. This project complies with relevant industrial policies.
