The Legislative Yuan passed the "Taiwan Army Retired Officers and Soldiers Guidance Regulations" today and revised Article 2722 to restore the education subsidy for the children of veterans above the colonel. The Legislative Yuan voted today to deal with various bills for salary increase for military personnel. The Legislative Yuan also voted to pass the "Taiwan Army Retired Officers and Soldiers Guidance Regulations" to add Article 272, which clearly stipulates that the education allowance for those who have retired officers and soldiers who are eligible for retired officers and soldiers who receive retired salary, pension and living allowance shall be determined by the counseling association in conjunction with the "education department" to restore the "education department" of the children of veterans above the colonel.
