On June 9, the Japanese Ministry of Defense issued a statement saying that a four-ship formation consisting of China's Liaoning aircraft carrier, the 055 destroyer Wuxi ship, the 052D destroyer Tangshan ship, and the 901 supply ship Hulun Lake ship, approaching 390 kilometers southwest waters of Nanniao Island, marking the first time that the Chinese aircraft carrier formation has broken through the second island chain for drills.
After the continued activities of the Liaoning ship, another Chinese aircraft carrier, also made new moves, continuing to move near Japan.

The Japanese United Staff Department continued to issue a statement the next day saying that it was confirmed that after the "Liaoning" aircraft carrier formation broke through the second island chain, the four-ship fleet of China's "Shandong Ship" aircraft carrier also launched activities near Okinototo Reef, Japan.
The Japanese side stated that Chinese ships carried out carrier-based aircraft and helicopter take-off and landing training in the area north of Okinotoku Reef, and continued to sail eastward after the training, which showed that China wanted to establish sea control, restrict the United States, and strengthen activities around the second island chain.

For Japan, from the beginning, the Chinese fleet frequently crossed the Japanese island straits, to the later cruised around Japan with the Russian Navy, to the frequent appearance of my country's aircraft carrier fleet between the first and second island chains, and finally to the current dual aircraft carrier formations began to break through the second island chain. Although this marked the Chinese navy from the near-shore to the deep blue, it also marked the gradual collapse of the second island chain enclosure and the continuous expansion of the ocean projection capacity, which undoubtedly made the Japanese side feel uncomfortable.

Just as Japan closely tracks the Chinese aircraft carrier formation, the United States' official statement has finally come. A Pentagon spokesman said in an interview with VOA that all countries have the right to exercise their freedom of navigation safely in international waters under international law, and we have been in close coordination with Japan and other regional allies and partners.
Obviously, it is clear to the United States that at the current internal riots in California and the critical political moment of external Sino-US negotiations, playing the military card is not a good choice. What's more, facing more than ten main ships such as two aircraft carriers and four 055 destroyers at the same time, even if the United States shows strength, it will not take any advantage.

Immediately, in the face of the attention of the United States and Japan, our country also responded to this. My Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian replied in just one sentence at the press conference, that is, the activities of Chinese warships in relevant waters are fully in line with international law and international practices. China has always pursued a defensive national defense policy and hopes that the Japanese side will look at it objectively and rationally.
Combined with the US statement, it is obvious that all parties are very clear that during the first round of economic consultations between China and the United States, Japan has sent out the signal that my country's aircraft carrier will have a second island chain for two consecutive days. What is the abacus in mind?

In fact, Japan should understand that since the West talks about freedom of navigation, our navy can sail in any corner of the world as long as it does not break into other countries' territorial waters.
The Japanese side should know that on the 80th anniversary of the victory of the anti-fascist world war II, the order is still the same, and any defeated state attempting to turn the tables will not succeed.
