On June 4, the Hunan Provincial Fiber Quality Monitoring Center held the 2025 "Laboratory Open Day" event, inviting 76 teachers and students from Hunan University of Engineering to contact the fiber quality monitoring process and testing technology work at zero distance.
Under the guidance of the tour guide, the teachers and students visited the laboratory on the spot, systematically observed the operation of high-precision instruments, and experienced the inspection of fiber composition identification, friction color fastness and other project tests. During the visit, the teachers and students interacted with technical personnel on professional issues such as standard fiber testing methods and nonwoven material performance testing.
This open day event comprehensively demonstrated the comprehensive testing capabilities of Hunan Provincial Fiber Quality Monitoring Center in the fields of cotton fiber, hemp fiber, yarn, textiles and their products, industrial textiles, down feathers and their products, and its technical support role in serving industrial development and ensuring quality and safety.
The person in charge of Hunan Provincial Fiber Quality Monitoring Center said that it will continue to deepen scientific research cooperation with universities, jointly promote testing technology innovation and professional talent training, and lay a solid technical foundation for the development of the fiber monitoring industry.
