There was a news recently that Midea Group announced the recall of 1.7 million window air conditioners that may breed mold in the United States and Canada. These air conditioners are sold from March 2020 to May 2025, and are priced between $280 and $500. Its unique U-shaped design allows windows to be closed when air conditioners are installed, thus reducing noise during operation.
Comparing the total sales of more than 1.7 million units since the launch of this model, the customer complaint rate is less than one in ten thousand.
