On June 10, the Office of the Leading Group for Quality-Strengthing Province of Liaoning Province and the Provincial Market Supervision Administration organized the unified destruction of infringing and counterfeit goods in 2025. Guo Xianguo, a second-level inspector of the Provincial Market Supervision Bureau, attended the event.
This unified destruction action is an important measure to implement the construction of a strong province in intellectual property rights and a strong province in quality. According to statistics, the province destroyed 15 types of infringing counterfeit and shoddy household appliances and electrical accessories, children's products and toys, clothing, furniture and building decoration materials, measuring instruments, fire-fighting products, gas stoves, expired and infringing food, meat products, wine, health food, electronic cigarettes, glue, etc., with a weight of more than 110 tons and a value of more than 3 million yuan. All the items destroyed come from infringement and counterfeiting cases investigated and dealt with by market supervision and management departments and public security organs. The destruction adheres to the principle of harmless handling and is carried out by incineration, which complies with relevant regulations on green and environmental protection.
In recent years, relevant departments in our province have thoroughly implemented the decisions and deployments of the CPC Central Committee and the work requirements of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Government, vigorously strengthened intellectual property protection, severely cracked down on infringement and counterfeiting, and took multiple measures to safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of rights holders and consumers. We have organized and carried out unified destruction of infringement, counterfeit and shoddy goods on many occasions, creating a strong deterrence for infringement, counterfeiting, illegal and criminal acts.
This destruction activity is hosted by the Provincial Quality-Strength Provincial Leading Group Office, the Provincial Market Supervision Bureau and the Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment.
