On the 10th local time, the North Korean Central News Agency published an article by Kim Myung-chol, a critic of North Korea's international issues, "Entry into the United States is not our concern."
The article stated that the United States recently announced restrictions on the entry of citizens of multiple countries on the grounds of posing a "threat" to national security. However, the list of relevant countries does not include North Korea. Whether the reason lies entirely in technical issues or political intentions can only explain it. In this regard, the North Korean side does not care whether the United States has entered an entry permit.
If the current U.S. government believes that they permit the parties to enter the United States unexpectedly and undesiredly, the North Korean side will regard it as a "gift", which is completely wrong. The Democratic People's Republic of Korea will continue to welcome Americans to North Korea.

On June 4, local time, according to a statement issued by the White House, U.S. President Trump completely suspended citizens of 12 countries from entering the United States as immigrants and non-immigrants, including Afghanistan, Myanmar, Chad, the Republic of Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Haiti, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen.
In addition, Trump has announced partial restrictions on entry measures for citizens of seven other countries, including Burundi, Cuba, Laos, Sierra Leone, Togo, Turkmenistan and Venezuela.

The statement stated that this move was to protect the national security of the United States. According to the statement, the announcement gives exceptions to legal permanent residents of the United States, existing visa holders, certain visa categories, and individuals whose entry is in the national interest of the United States.
After the last term of office, then-President Trump issued an executive decree on the grounds of national security after taking office in January 2017, banning people from entering seven Muslims, including Iraq, Iran, Libya, Syria, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen. The ban was accused of discrimination by opponents, and court judges in many places in the United States ruled that the ban was suspended.
Afterward, the Trump administration issued another ban in March 2017 after amending the ban, announcing that the above six nationals except Iraq will be temporarily banned within 90 days, and all refugee identities will be prohibited within 120 days, so as to give the authorities time to consider whether there are safety hazards. However, courts in many places have once again called for a suspension of the ban, saying that the travel ban "violates federal laws and the constitution", and Trump issued the order "overrides the presidential authority."
In response, the Trump administration appealed to the Supreme Court on June 1 of that year, demanding the resumption of the travel ban. On June 26, the U.S. Supreme Court overturned the ban on Trump's travel ban issued by judges from federal courts in several states, allowing the main content of the ban to take effect. Under this ruling, the travel ban will be effective unless the foreigner involved has a “trusted, true and good faith relationship with the American or entity.”
