In recent days, reporters from The Paper have contacted the local village committee, town government, transportation bureau and other relevant departments many times, but have refused to respond.
Zhao Ming said that the village started building roads many years ago. In addition to government funding, each household also raised about 500 yuan in the first main road. In 2022, the former village party secretary promised to repair all the highways in the village by 2023. "But it's time to delay, and it's said that by the end of 2024, it will definitely be (highways), but in fact, it's not until this year," said Zhao Ming.

Early this year, the road in front of Zhao Ming's house began to be repaired, but as of now, about 1.1 kilometers of dirt road has not been completed, involving about 8 households and more than 30 people in daily travel. In addition, Zhao Ming also said that some dirt roads that are more than 4 meters wide are only more than 3 meters wide after renovation.
" Asked the current village party secretary, he said he only hit this place, and the reason was not explained. Later, he said that he might hit (highway) next time, but what agreement would be signed." Zhao Ming said.
The Paper found that according to the "Approval on the 2019 Rural Road Construction Project of Yongxing Town, Cuiping District, Yibin City", the 2019 Rural Road Construction Project of Yongxing Town has been successfully approved in 2020. Among them, the construction content of the project is to build a new 4.5-meter-wide rural road across the town, with a total length of 9 sections, with a total length of 14.6 kilometers. The total investment of this project is 12 million yuan, and the construction period should be 6 months.
