Swedish "Environmental Girl" Tunbery (Greta Thunberg and other pro-Palestinian activists recently boarded a sailboat carrying supplies, attempting to go to Gaza by sea, but the sailboat has been intercepted by Israeli troops at sea and is being taken to Israel.
Tumbery and his party set off from Sicily, Italy last week. There were 12 people on the ship and went to Gaza with supplies including infant formula, food and medical supplies to try to break through Israel's blockade. Israeli Foreign Minister Katz said earlier that he had instructed the Israeli army to take action to prevent sailboats from reaching the coast of Gaza and could take all necessary measures to do so.

Katz called on Tunbery and his party to turn the sailing boats because they would not be able to arrive in Gaza, and Israel would firmly resist any attempt to break through the blockade or assist terrorist organizations, whether at sea, in the air or on land.
As for the Israeli Foreign Ministry issued a statement on social media, stating that under international law, legal maritime blockades are being implemented in the offshore waters of Gaza, prohibiting unauthorized ships from entering. And the sailing ship claims to be transporting humanitarian aid supplies. In fact, the load of less than a truckload of aid supplies is just a trick to promote it in the media. It is a "self-portrait sailboat".

The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs criticized the sailing boat for propaganda in the media.
The statement mentioned that humanitarian aid materials are being delivered regularly and effectively through different pipelines and routes, and are transferred through established distribution mechanisms. More than 1,200 aid trucks have entered Gaza from Israel in the past two weeks, and the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation has distributed nearly 11 million meals directly to civilians. While the Gaza waters remain a frequent conflict zone, Hamas has previously used maritime routes to launch terrorist attacks. Unauthorized attempts to break through blockades are dangerous and illegal and will undermine ongoing humanitarian efforts, calling on all parties to take responsible action to provide humanitarian assistance through legal and coordinated mechanisms rather than provocations.
The Israeli Foreign Ministry later confirmed that the sailboat had been intercepted by the Israeli Navy and was sailing safely to the Israeli coast, all the people on the ship were safe and uninjured, to provide them with sandwich and water, and they were expected to be sent back to their respective countries. Israel criticized Tunbery and others for trying to create provocations in the media, with the only purpose of attracting attention. In addition, the party also pointed out that there are many ways to transport aid materials to Gaza, and it is not limited to uploading selfies on social platforms. As for the small amount of aid on the sailing ship, it will be transported to Gaza through real humanitarian channels.
