The tough law enforcement triggered two consecutive days of demonstrations, with rallies clashing with security personnel, and the situation gradually escalating.
Los Angeles is the second largest city in the United States and one of the most diversified metropolis in the United States. According to U.S. census data, there are about 50,000 residents in the suburbs of Paramount City, where the main demonstrations are located, 82% of whom are Hispanic or Latino.
