Tell me a thousand and tell me ten thousand! After missing US military aid, Ukraine is now ineffective on the battlefield! To put it seriously, if the EU and NATO cannot continue to support Ukraine, then Ukraine will completely lose the resources to maintain the war.
The soldiers on the Ukrainian front are now experiencing the torture of "out of food". Since Trump came to power, he cut off the major artery of US military aid, the Ukrainian army's shell inventory is like a rice tank with a leak. At the end of last year, the US Congress blocked aid for half a year, but Bachmut was lost directly. The soldiers watched the positions being eaten by the Russian army but were unable to fight back.
It is worth mentioning that the "Patriot" air defense missile inventory is in urgent need of intercepting Russian ballistic missiles. Once it is used up, the Russian military's missiles can hit power plants and arsenals like dumplings. A company commander on the front line said bluntly: "The first thing to break is not ammunition, but eyes and ears!" As soon as the missile warning information provided by the US satellite was cut off, the Ukrainian army could only react after the missile landed.

Another thing happened recently that made Zelensky very sad. CCTV reported that Zelensky personally revealed in an interview with ABC: The 20,000 anti-drone missiles that the United States originally wanted to support Ukraine were temporarily diverted to the Middle East. This missile was originally designed to deal with the Russian "witness" Kamikaze drone, but now the Ukrainian army on the front line has no hope.
When Ukraine's war resources are almost gone, Zelensky's current tone has also changed. Zelensky said that Ukraine is willing to achieve a "30-day short-term ceasefire or permanent ceasefire", and emphasized that it can be suspended at all three lines of land, sea and air.
In fact, as early as March 2025, Zelensky asked the United States to supervise the ceasefire and proposed to "respond to the ceasefire with a ceasefire", but Russia only agreed to suspend attacks on energy facilities for 30 days (not a comprehensive ceasefire).
In April 2025, Zelensky proposed to extend the ceasefire to 30 days, saying that "30 hours are not enough to build trust" and Russia's sincerity needs to be tested. Now Zelensky has proposed a ceasefire again, and it is estimated that Russia will not be fooled.

The current situation on the battlefield has changed again. The Russian army has begun to frequently use the "Lancet" cruise missiles, such as low-cost precision weapons, to attack the rear command posts and ammunition depots of the Ukrainian army. In the direction of Chongliman, they even played the new tactic of "drone + electronic warfare", paralyzing the communication system of a mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian army for a full 48 hours. This dimensionality reduction strike has made the Ukrainian army, which lacks electronic warfare equipment and advanced air defense systems, suffer.
With the background of the United States abandoning Ukraine, why can't Russia and Ukraine still achieve a ceasefire? The essential reason is that the EU and NATO are unwilling to give up, and they still have to support Ukraine in its battle.
In particular, Germany spoke out hard and continued to support Ukraine. Therefore, it is not surprising that the Russian people regard Germany as the "most hostile country".

Russian independent polling agency "Levada Center" conducted a survey from May 22 to 28, and 55% of Russian people directly classified Germany as the "most unfriendly country." Deutsche Welle (the German National Radio) reported the result on June 9.
Why is Russia so angry? To put it bluntly, the "Taurus" missile sent by Germany to Ukraine could hit Moscow, which touched Russia's bottom line. Russia is now trying to force Germany to choose between "stop military aid" and "bearing local strikes."
Earlier, Kartapolov, chairman of the Russian State Duma National Defense Committee, made a tough word: "Germany continues to support Ukraine in fighting Russia, and we will defend security at all costs!" And the Russian military is discussing the possibility of cracking down on Germany. #Certified Author Incentive Program#
